Why we give
WCC wants to ignite a passion for Jesus, the Bible, the Church, and Others. Because of this passion, we give. Our passion for Jesus means we give because we follow his teaching about where our treasure is stored (Matthew 6:19-24). Our passion for the Bible means we know that everything we have is really 100% God’s! He has called us to steward what He has blessed us with and the most Biblical way to give is the “tithe” (the first 10% goes back to God). Our passion for the church means we support the mission and ministry of the church by giving. And, our passion for Others is to share the gospel and the Kingdom of God with our community and our world. 10% of all giving goes to support various missions around the world! As a church seeking to live by the Word of God, we know that giving is very much a part of that!
